چکیده
In the present study, microstructure characteristic and texture evolution of TB18 titanium alloy were studied by isothermal hot compression under different strain with rate 0.001 s?1 0.1 in ? phase zone. Electron Back-Scattered Diffraction (EBSD) XRD used to characterize macrotexture. Microstructure demonstrated that coarse grains flatten elongated direction as increased. The dynamic recrystallization mechanism is continuous (CDRX) at lower rate, while discontinuous (DDRX) higher rate. deformation strongly dependent on dislocation density, geometrically necessary dislocations density increased limited faction has little effect evolution, ascribed induced boundary migration activity slip system. At {110}?111? system {123}?111? enhanced ?110? weakened ?111? texture; modified intensity enhances texture.

Flow Behavior of SP-700 Titanium Alloy During Hot Tensile Deformation in α+β and β Phase Regions
In this paper, in order to study the flow behavior and elongation of as-cast ingots of SP-700 titanium alloy, hot tensile test was done in α/β dual phase and β single phase regions using strain rate of 0.1 s-1. Results showed that the hot tensile behavior of SP-700 in the α/β dual phase region (700-900 ºC) was different from the β single phase one (950-1100 ºC) due to the nature of alpha and be...
متن کاملThe effect of twinning on texture evolution during ECAP processing of an AM30 magnesium alloy
An AM30 magnesium alloy was processed through ECAP method at 200 °C. Optical and transmission electron microscopy as well as electron back scattered diffraction (EBSD) technique were employed to characterize the deformed microstructure. A partially recrystallized microstructure including ultrafine/nano structures was obtained. The area fraction of 49% was measured for the recrystallized regions...

Article history: Received 2 January 2015 Received in revised form 22 October 2015 Accepted 23 October 2015 Available online 27 October 2015 The hot deformation behaviour of Inconel alloy IN718 was studied in the temperature range of 950–1100 °C and at strain rates of 0.01 and 1 s with a view to understand the microstructural evolution as a function of strain rate and temperature. For this purpo...
متن کاملMicrostructure Evolution of HSLA Pipeline Steels after Hot Uniaxial Compression
The mechanical properties of the high-strength low-alloy pipeline steels were mainly controlled by the subsequent phase transformations after rolling. The influence of hot uniaxial compression on the phase transformation of acicular ferrite was explored by viewing of the deformation degree, the deformation temperature, and the strain rate. The results show that the increase of deformation amoun...

In this study, the global texture evolution in a 2 mm gauge hot band of continuous casting AA5052 aluminum alloy, annealed at 449 °C for 4 hours, was investigated. Samples were deformed to three different strain values under a near equi-biaxial stretching condition. Their textures were. The major and minor strains of these samples were measured using an automatic strain analysis system. The tex...
